Want to win a buckle?

In order to be eligible for the buckle you must compete in both classes. The total amount of points with be counted.

If you enter both divisions (4 classes) you can only win 1 buckle. You can place in one division and win another Division. For Example: If you enter both the In-Hand & Ridden divisions and you place 1st in both, you will be the Champion of 1, and receive 2nd in the other.

Basic Rules:

  • Must Bridge & Reward 5 times (minimum) during each class

  • For in-hand classes: working "at liberty" without any tack is preferred OR if using a halter and lead not relying on it

  • For ridden classes: No bits allowed. Halters or gentle side pulls, or bitless bridles

  • No Rope halters allowed

  • A horse can participate with multiple handlers (ie if you share a horse, lesson horse etc.. )

  • A handler can enter multiple times in each division with a different horse each time - separate forms per "run."

You will be scored on

  1. How you respond to your horse during the class

  2. How well your horse interacts with each obstacle

  3. Food manners

  4. Horse's relaxation

  5. Precision
